Back then on 2021-22, I was searching for a path, to live a free life. Free is to have freedom. It started with money and ended with self-discovery.
This letter’s goanna be short but worth reading.
I was very determined to achieve it. I tried a lot of things on the way like you name it. But at the end, I didn’t find anything but discovered myself.
Discovery is not something to fantasise but a result of intense work on yourself. Trying relentlessly, failing, and failing fast.
It’s like becoming an experiment kit. You must have the patience and guts to step back if it’s not working. Experimentation leads to experience and experience becomes the guide.
I was not trying to discover myself but was giving my best. So, that I could live a free life.
“Once you have the idea of who you are? Then there’s no trap for you. You do only what matters to you.”
This is what I call returning your home. The real you without any filters. The courage to listen to your inner voice which got lost somewhere. It is to find that voice again and start living it.
Just drop all your inner conditioning for a while and read this letter with a pure intent to follow your own path. Let’s dive in…
HOW TO DESIGN A MAP FOR YOUR LIFE?
“An ideal map directs your energy towards your higher self.”
It starts all with finding-
1. A Purpose
2. A spiritual quest
3. A self-discovered path
A Purpose
Do you need a purpose?
Why are purpose so hyped?
What are you without a purpose?
Don’t jump to the conclusion so fast. Just think thoroughly.
The basic purpose of the life is to survive, but is met so easily in the modern times. So, people don’t have to worry about it.
Then comes the purpose with an intent to live a meaningful life. Every desire and purpose, here is to make you feel alive. It adds meaning to your existences.
The deeper truth is that you don’t need any of them to live. As naval says- “Desires are the contract you made with yourself to remain unhappy.”
But we are not here to discuss about it. so,
Let’s understand the basic purposes of your life?
The materialistic life that you’re living currently demands 3 basic purposes:
1. Wealth
The wealth supports you to live a life that fulfils the basic requirements to survive. You don’t have to worry about your expenses and meal. You eat good, you dress well, and the most important is you buy your time.
2. Health
You know that the health is the second form of wealth. A good health is when you’re both mentally and physical fit. But most of the people lack one of it. So, it is a must to work on your health. A healthy mind & body are the reasons why you will feel energetic towards your daily life goals.
3. Relationship
I think I don’t have to explain it. You already experience it in your family, partners, and friends. According to a scientific research, people tend to live a more stress free live when they have a good relationship.
They try to find a purpose without looking into these fundamentals of life, which demands your attention, care, and time.
The ultimate purpose for any living creature is never materialistic. It is something very deep, connected to your soul. It comes naturally when your mind is free.
Free from the basic needs for the survival.
A Spiritual Quest
Have you ever dared to question, who am I?
If not, that means you’re living a superficial life. You’re more into the outer world than your inner.
Here I’m not trying to hurt your sentiment but giving a reality check. The question is very important because it has the power to "‘awaken you’.
It’s the beginning of the spiritual journey and the fun part is that you don’t have to know the answer.
The question is the core of the self-discovery path. It makes you uncomfortable, changes your perspective, and allows you to live in the moment.
You cannot dwell into the past or future with this very question in your mind.
Initially the question feels heavy, but as you move on to the different levels of life, you’ll feel light. You become more aware, more receptive, and courageous to question deeply.
Everyone in this world is blessed to have this question, only if they are free from the so-called busy schedule of the life.
If the question don’t pop up in to your mind on its own, that means you haven’t spent enough time with yourself. You run away but at the cost of losing your true self.
It all comes with staying alone and enjoying solitude. That’s it.
A True Path
A true path is a self-discovered path. The path that is built upon your choices, intelligence, and full authority.
You live a free life when you opt an authentic lifestyle. Responsibility seems to be fulfilling when you own it.
But most of you run away from it, because the path has been handover to you by the society.
How can you be happy walking someone else path?
The human mind is designed to hunt, discover, and survive. Every time you hunt & discover something, the dopamine hits you.
Making you feel alive. But it comes only when you have the courage to build the one. Let’s unpacked how to do it?
1. Learn to unlearn
Become absolute. Have the courage to start from the zero.
Unlearning is not trying to remove it from your memory. It is prioritizing the most important information which makes sense to you.
You need to filter the thoughts, beliefs, and ideas that does not serve you anymore.
It is the first conscious step towards self-discovery
2. The 6-month frame
The 6-month frame work is to build the foundation.
It includes learning, unlearning, questioning, writing, experimenting, choosing, and planning.
Most have named it “monk mode,” but you’re playing the game of what, why, and how. It’s all about figuring out, if you look to it through a scientific lens.
It’s the minimum period that one needs to establish habit and change themselves completely.
3. Productize yourself
There’s a concept called ‘market fit.’ The word is often used by entrepreneurs and business man.
It explains whether your product is ready to be launched in the market. But what do I mean by productize yourself?
If you’re reading this letter then I assume that you’re someone who has ‘0’ knowledge and skills about business. So, what if I say you don’t need a product.
You’re the product.
I heard the concept for the first time from one of my favourite creators Dan Koe. The concept was originally taken from the legendary person Naval RaviKant.
The concept simply says that if you don’t have a product then be the one. Market yourself, improve your skills, and become someone of high agency.
Choose your path, solve your own problems, and sell the solutions to your tribe.
This is how you live in the modern world.
Doubt Session
How to build a tribe?
There are a lot of ways to build your own tribe. The tribe includes those people who has the same interests, goals, and vision like you. You must observe people on social media following their passion and earning a living through it. The musicians, the dancers, the comedians, the gamers and many more. Slowly everyone is shifting to the digital landscape because that’s what the evolution is demanding right now. You need to use social media and take one step at time to build whatever you desire and wanted to see as a product in the world. That’s the beginning towards a free life.
The letter’s end here, but my writing doesn’t. I will write everyday for my readers. If you love reading my letters then I hope you already subscribed it.
Thank you.
